The Advanced Educational Program in Periodontics is a fully accredited three-year program by the Commission of Dental Organization of the American Dental Association (CODA). This program is directed toward providing opportunities for the development of expert clinicians and periodontists who have a background of comprehensive clinical experience, current basic science knowledge relevant to dentistry and periodontics, and research methodology. Successful completion of the 36-month program including a research thesis based on an investigative project leads to the Master of Science degree.
