Graduate College

Research-Intensive Mission

Research is central to OUHS's mission as a comprehensive academic health center. Extramural grant funding enables our graduate faculty to support more than 300 students pursuing advanced degrees in Biomedical Sciences, Clinical & Translational Sciences, and Allied- and Public Health-related disciplines. In addition to a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary campus environment, OUHS partners with OMRF, Dean A. McGee Eye Institute, Harold Hamm Diabetes Center, and the Peggy & Charles Stephenson Cancer Center, all of which are adjacent to campus and home to renowned faculty and clinicians. Research is conducted in state-of-the-art facilities, with an emphasis on bench-to-bedside innovations for several critical disease areas along with population health and minimizing healthcare disparities.
