This workshop will focus on the fundamentals of presenting your work and speaking in front of an audience, helping you learn how to adapt your message, sharpen your delivery, and make an impact via your presentations. You will learn techniques for structuring a presentation, engaging an audience, and using visual aids effectively. Emphasis will also be placed on learning effective verbal and nonverbal communication skills and managing public speaking anxiety.
The workshop is part of the Effective Communication Microcredential in the EXPAND Professional Development Program. All students and postdocs are eligible to enroll in this and other microcredential programs. Note that enrollment is not required to attend.
