The Health Sciences Graduate College with its Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences (GPiBS) hosted the Oklahoma Academy of Science (OAS) Technical Meeting on November 1st, 2024. Approximately 320 students and faculty from 15 institutions across Oklahoma were welcomed to the OU Health Sciences Campus to present their research and hear an engaging keynote address from Dr. H. Anne Pereira, Dean of the Health Sciences Graduate College.

With 93 poster presentations and 44 oral presentations, the event showcased the breadth of research impacted by undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty at colleges and universities in Oklahoma. The goal of OAS is to encourage scientific research, build relationships among Oklahoma scientists, and educate the public in scientific matters.
